Great game, instant buy. If you don't support gaming, who will create games. Especially at 3 bucks.
This was really a great overlooked game - highly recommended. And the narrator, Doug Cockle, is the voice actor for Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher games.
Bought, seemed like good devs to support.

Beaten this on the PS5 when it was available on Plus. Takes about 7-9 hours on normal. I want to say it's charming but it's rather violent but quirky and full of humor (albeit dark) haha. I guess that's expected of a souls-like game.
Very fun game and IMO it's a very good intro to the souls genre for people who has never played a souls game. The bosses ARE quite challenging but they all have about 2-3 attack patterns that are very easy to memorize. The developers definitely did a good job of balancing the bosses where they offer you just the right amount of challenge but doesn't make it SO challenging that you'll end up frustrated and quit.
The only thing I would say that I wish they had done was add some sort of skill tree to add more depth to the combat. But other than that, a very solid and straightforward game with quest markers that guides you on where you need to go so you won't ever feel lost.
