Beware! Visible lost my phone number on port in. They also refused to pay out my gift card bonus due to a mistake they made.
If you need support, I hope you like Facebook Messenger.
If you ever get elevated to tier 2 support they will send you a single email from no-reply and you have to start over with tier 1 just to respond.
That's not the experience that I have, my entire family has Visible and even with one bar, we are able to receive, make calls and use the data. What you are experiencing is probably because the area you currently live.
Those other plans throttle you to like 1 mbps or less after you use 10gb, 15gb, or however much data they give you. With Visible it is really unlimited. You'll get fast speeds as long as the towers aren't congested. If you don't use a lot of data then obviously not worth it. If Verizon sucks in your area and the towers are always overused then not worth it either.
You also have unlimited hot spot with Visible. Hot spot is suppose to be limited to 5 mbps but its very easy to work around that and get full speeds.

I drove from Austin to San Diego once and remember only AT&T working the majority of the time. Would never trust Tmobile or Verizon. That was a scary journey. 🤣 Idk any other network besides Sprint but I think their coverage was the worst.
Has anyone received their sim yet? I ordered the 2nd and received an email stating it had shipped on the 3rd. Then another today that it had arrived but there's nothing in my mailbox.
My same experience. VZ worked in San Antone, then Ft. Stockton, then 40 miles out of El Paso.

No issues here. Support is chat, which is how they save money. Knowing the port process, it would be your previous carrier that released your number, either through a screw up or because your account was past due or inactive.
I have had good service with Visible. No longer have to worry about limits and in 18 months have never had a dropped call. People on here lovee to hate on them because they can't get 45 years of cell service for 11 cents.
US mobil has real peeps answering their phones. None this text chat ONLY svc BS like visible mvno. Im on the US mobil verizon mvno in TX for $15/mo, but I pays lil bit extra for hot spot $17.50/mo. Its prepay so you gotta have $210 paid up front, but at least you dont have worry about price increases for a year 😊
I switched my whole family a week ago. So far no issues worth complaining about. I had a question so I went to chat. I couldn't buy an annual plan since I did the 14 day trial and only new subscribers can get the annual plan. He explained that I can do it by the end of the month so for now just take advantage of the moolah promotion and at the end of the 3 months get the annual. The tech then even stayed on the line as I went through the whole process of buying a plan, downloading the esim, and porting. He seemed more knowledgeable then most of the att service reps I would call and speak to. I switched over a pixel 8 pro, iphone 12 max pro, and a samung 22. Apple was the only one I had to download the esim twice ( i think it was because I ported too soon)
It's always been great for me and my family and friends. The only thing is that you have to talk with them via message, and sometimes that can be aggravating. But when you are connected I've always had great service and even the hotspot works great when my home internet connection was down so I was able to connect to my tv
Had the 25 dollar Metro unlimited plan without hotspot and decided to port in to Visible December last year. I went with the 25 dollar plan because the code I had was to upgrade to the 45 dollar plan and have it for 35 for the life of the Visible Plus plan. Well, they never ported my number correctly because I had just moved from KS to IL and didn't have a SIM card. Only way for them to send me a SIM card was porting my phone number without me having a physical SIM card so I lost service from my phone altogether. It was a mess. By the time I had the SIM card the code for Visible Plus for 35 dollars was no longer available. Now they've removed all of the codes that had any meaningful discount. I might port my number out back to Metro if I can't get Visible Plus for 35 bucks. I don't like the idea of prepaying a whole years worth of service.
My mint mobile is also ending on middle of month, such a coincidence, probably we bought the same 6 months free deal.
I'm in the same boat as both of you lool.. mine expires in 9 days. Mint has been decent but I'm looking to save on monthly plan. Which one you're considering. Visible or Visible+?
On the other hand I've been using them 2 years, got a giftcard, a great Bluetooth speaker.. service has been reliable where I live, upgraded to the plus service and still only paying 44 dollars with insurance.
If subpar customer service is a breaking point then you should probably avoid MVNOs and pay the premium. In my experience they all have pretty shitty support.
Pay the premium? The big 3 all have shitty support also. So no, do not pay the premium for the same shitty support

But if you only use a few gigs of data a month, you should look elsewhere for better customer service and value.

Funny how some things don't change?
