Under Settings > Account > Google Voice number, make sure to 'Unlock'
Account # is your GV phone #
Pin you have to create in your GV account settings by toggling on "Call to listen" under voicemail settings.

Based on info in this thread as well as info found on google, it is recommended to use google's address if you are porting a GV number and are asked for an address when providing port info for your 'old carrier':

Once activated, Text UNLOCK to 611611 (send it twice, it wont work first time) to confirm your unlock date. (approx. 60 days) The unlock is automatic and sent from apple servers. And it will unlock from anywhere in the world.
Bypass port in requirement for activation
YMMV Bypass port requirement After getting device activate on total website at top click Activate>New Phone One you've purchased through Total Wireless>I want a newer number. Plan was tied to phone IMEI on activation.
YMMV, you can activate your phone on tracfone.com with new number directly to bypass port in requirement and the cost is $10 But please be reminded, after you input the imei on tracfone.com, you prepaid balance for your total-by-verizon will be lost and your phone will be rebrand to tracfone and you can't activate it on total-by-verizon wihout rebranding it back to total-by-verizon

Chase 15% Offer Details (YMMV / Targeted)
NOTE - this deal is YMMV / Targeted. I have several chase credit cards, but the offer only appears on 2 of the cards.
1) Log into chase.com account
2) Accounts tab -> (top left of screen)
3) On the right hand side of the screen you will see a "Chase offers" panel, click it
4) Top right corner there is a "choose account" drop down. If you have multiple chase cards, you will have to cycle through all of them and check the deals below that appear. not all of them will have the Verizon offer (hence YMMV)
5) If you see "Total by Verizon" deal then click on the "+" to add the offer to your card. NOTE - Remember which card you added it to (i.e the last 4 digits of the card)
When checking out on TotalByVerizon.com, use the Chase credit card that you added the offer to, to pay for the phone.
You will get an email notification a few days later, if successful (Subject "Congrats! You've successfully redeemed one of your Chase Offers")

I had an iPhone 11 up until 2023 and the main issue was that the chip would get crazy hot. Battery was also affected by that

1). I was able to get the number from this guy and he was able to help me with verification code
2). Two step process. You need laptop and your phone. I wasn't able to go through berification from my iPhone. So I used laptop as mentioned by someone and my phone
3) use your laptop to make purchase and go through the verification code. To verify your id I used option 2 which they send a txt to my regular phone I use all the time. The laptop had veriff screen open and was communication through my phone where the txt was sent for verification. Verification was done less then 15 seconds.
4) go though checkout process on laptop.
Hope this helps the eBay seller was very helpful. If you flood him please be patience. I tried making purchase through my phone and never went past veriff on my id. Above process worked for me after almost spending 2 hr.
