The iPhone 11 is very old at this point, I wouldn't recommend anything older than the iPhone 12.

I had an iPhone 11 up until 2023 and the main issue was that the chip would get crazy hot. Battery was also affected by that

I was using an iPhone 11 like 6 months ago and it was behaving totally fine. Disagree that it's not usable right now, and the battery life will be right up there with the 12 whose battery life was natively poor.

Does the ID check involve a hard credit pull?

Not sure if this helps anyone but here's what I saw on my end. I ordered 4 phones (2 for my account, 2 for wife's) and initially ported a single number in for the first phone. After it was up and running, I took that sim card and put it into each of the remaining phones and did basic setup (no Apple ID). Sent a text message on each to confirm they were working. When I check their SN on Apple's website, they show a warranty end date of 5/7/25 which is the date (5/7) I ported in the first number. Seems like it worked to get the 60 day clock running on all 4 phones with only one number ported in. That being said, I did end up porting in 2 more numbers. Last phone they can't get working after numerous support calls and a few sim cards. I may have done that to myself but if the 60 day clock already started, I'll just wait it out. Anyways YMMV.

I don't have experience with Total, but based on my experience with Tracfone, it's a bad idea to move a sim around. To do so, you have to do "activate and transfer". I suggest you login to your Total account to check each line and see what they look like.

Activation with Apple is not the same as activation with the carrier.

Yeah I kind of wondered that. For what it's worth, the 2 other numbers ported in fine and activation was smooth. The last phone support told me the SIM card wasn't registered in their system. So as far as I could tell, it wasn't an issue with the phone at all. That being said, it is finally working as of this morning. I just texted UNLOCK to 611611 and the unlock date is 7/6/2024. So it seems to have taken the earlier date. Definitely not worth the headache I had this weekend trying to get it fixed (if it was my fault) though.

Interesting indeed. I assume you have 2 separate TbV accounts and both phones show up in each?

Yes two separate accounts. One remaining issue I'm trying to get them to fix is attaching one of the phones to my account. The number was ported in successfully and it works fine but just doesn't show up on my account. Ironically, the phone that does appear is the one I had so many issues with. I'll confirm unlock dates on the other phones later today just as a data point.

Hi, I am having issues transferring GV number, But totalbyverizon says when they submit the porting request they are getting invalid account number. I did unlock the number paying $3, will I have to wait 2-3 business days for the unlock to happen from the google side, or is it immediate. Will I get a confirmation email from goggle once my number is unlocked?

Did you supply the correct account number and pin? It's listed in the wiki. Yes you will get an email from Google the minute it ports. And you should have gotten an email when you unlocked the number.
