I think these mechanical keyboards with electrical switches are obsolete/dinosaur technology. I like the feel of the keys, but electro-mechanical switches are meh.

For less money, you can get a pretty comparable "mechanical" keyboard with optical switches. E.g. I have a Pulsar full size keyboard with numpad, function keys, etc., that I paid $54 for.

Optical switches have no contacts to wear out, and have lower latency (shaves a few ms off, believe it or not). The keycaps can still be interchangeable with the electro-mechanical counterparts if that's important to you.
