I really wish phone makers wouldn't use the curved edge screen gimmick anymore. I would already have bought one of these otherwise. I drop my phone way too much to take that risk.
that's a big change as far as phones go...
I completely agree the 16/256 is much better than the 8/128

Just so everyone knows, the 10 % that was originally posted here was actually 20% student discount. That has now reduced to 10 % only , leaving the phone at 529.99, then you could get it with any phone trade in -$100 for $429.99 instead of the 376.99 mentioned.

Hi, everyone.Does everyone have DP about trade in .I heard that OnePlus got many trade in issues, cause I have a oneplus 8 needs trade in, I just worried.
Just bought it a few days ago, delivering today - sure hope OnePlus honors their 14 day "Price Change Refund Policy" for the $100 trade-in (vs. my $50) without too much fuss.
It didn't go, at all - but expecting as much, I didn't even open the box on 1st phone until finishing a support chat. OnePlus essentially opted to pay for return shipment + pay to ship me a new phone instead of just doing the price match. Great business model... But the minor time investment to take it back to UPS was worth it for me. They're probably banking on the hassle factor, especially for users who already set up their phone.

That is pretty pathetic of them BUT you did get that refund pretty fast right?

I've done four trades with them over the past few years. All have gone smoothly...except when it comes to prompt payment for the trade value. I always wait patiently for the trade refund amount to process on its own, but weeks go by and I end up having to contact support to push it through. On the upside, when I do reach out to support via chat they process the refund instantly.
Most don't have to deal with this anyway though. There's the option to receive instant trade value at the time of your order and I expect that's the typical choice. For various reasons I elect to wait for a refund after the trade has been completed.

Also got a rather generous $320 for trade-in on a Pixel 7 Pro I was never too fond of.

I just shipped the phone back 5 days ago and I do see the refund pending in my account now, so yeah it was pretty quick
