What stainless pan set doesn't do this? use barkeepers friend.

I have both. I got a tramontina set a bit smaller than this from Costco (made in Brazil) and two all clads (one large frying pan and a roasting pan)

Zero difference. I wouldn't shock them with ice cold water from red hot to test the extreme, but heat distribution is identical. no warping...all stay flat on my countertop as well as on the induction.

All clads support is horrendous; that alone has turned me off from the brand. Costco's return policy makes these a winner.

You can fry eggs in stainless steel but there is a specific process. Pan needs to be super hot. Check YouTube for a demo.

Can anyone that's ordered a set recently comment if you got China or Brazil made? From the Costco website it looks like they're still shipping both but would love to hear from recent purchasers!
Order mine in April and they're also from Brazil. So far I'm really enjoying the pans, but I did wish they had a 2-2.5qt sauce pan. Also make sure of buy some Barkeeper's Friend (the liquid kind) to keep the stainless steel looking good otherwise the pans will be very discolored after you wash them just using dish soap.

This verses the Calphalon set. I've been waiting for that to go on sale.

Just bought that set a few weeks ago and have had a great time with them. Came from some Farberware stainless that were pretty great for a cheap set but this is miles better. I'd say the Calphalon are a lot closer to the all clad I've used in the past compared to this posted set.

Did you try out the Tramontina set as well? Or are comparing based on pics or published specs?

Heavy! All these additional laters of steel are highly unnecessary. I still reach for the very thin set i have that are 20+ years old over these. More layers of material does not always mean better, it's a marketing scheme for the most part. I have them so i use them, but i would not buy again.

I absolutely second this - I love my stainless steel Tramontina set AND I absolutely refuse to ever buy any All Clad ever again. Worst customer service ever and they quite literally do not back up their products at all. I have multiple all clad pieces and I ended up with a messed up pan, which I had only ever cooked bacon in, and they accused me of all sorts of things via email(it was bizarre) and refused to replace the pan. It was weird and I was shocked by how...I mean REALLY awful they were. I was under warranty and they told me to basically go fark off and I must have cooked something other than bacon in it and lit the pan on fire. Tramontina is awesome and they stand by their products. I have yet to have a problem with any of their cookware/kitchen items after years and years of usage.

I also stand by Figmint's (Target) stainless steel roasting pan. Figmint is part of Target's in house line so you have a year to return it if there is a problem. The best stainless steel roasting pan I have ever owned and I got 4 of them on sale for $20 a pop during the holidays. They are amazing.

Is the Sams Club 14pc version (https://www.samsclub.com/p/tri-pl..._product_1) worth it over this set?

I have the Sam's set and prefer it for aesthetic reasons(none of that big "Tramontina" label stuff on the sides like the Costco set). The Sam's one goes on sale from time to time.

What's the process for eggs on a stainless steel pan?

Genuinely interested because every time I cook eggs not using a nonstick pan, I have to use a ton of oil/butter or it'll be a mess.

I bought many of their pans and had one where the ceramic coating came off. Despite having a lifetime warranty, they refused to replace it saying it was wear/tear. I buy pans to use not sit to sit in he pantry.
