This would've been an instant purchase if it weren't for dang micro-USB

Will wait in 5 years for a USB-C version

Or just buy this USB-C one for practically half the price normally.

This Craftsman SUCKS. See ultimate comparison here:

Cliffnotes: Amazon Denali is the cheapest and highest performing, Worx is good if you want more torque settings, Dewalt has neat functionality if you want to splurge.

This seems way more expensive than it should be, considering it's weak and still has microusb
i think you're paying for the craftsman name

I bought mine maybe 2 years ago from Lowes for $25 if I remember correctly. Between this and the cheapo Black & Decker screwdriver (model AS6NG) that takes 4x AA batteries, I always reach out for the Black & Decker (B&D). The B&D seems to have more power (maybe because the B&D is 6V) and there is no play at all on screwdriver bits on the cheap B&D. This Craftsman - the bits wobbles (there is play) at the quick-release mechanism. The quick-release is totally not necessary IMO - this underpowered thing is meant for the occasional use here and there for home owners...so if you're using it here and there every now and then, how much time is that quick-release going to save you? If I'm at a work-site and I'm constantly having to change bits in a fast paced environment, then yes, quick-release on my 20V drill makes total sense. Because I only paid ~$25 for it, I didn't think it was worth my time to go back to Lowes to return it.
