A solid single slab of wood if it is not large enough will cup and warp. Endgrain boards with the alternate grains glued together negate this action so can be more stable without needing to be very large

No juice groove on the Costco version.
You can search in amazon. This one never failed me. It never mold and its not plastic. I have owned this for more than 10 years and never mold.
It is not a solid block of teak, but rather, it is thin strips of teak glued together, milled and sanded and stained, in bulk. Do your basic math to know how much should be a fair price.
Some of you may find this as a deal, and good for you. But even at $55 sale price, it is way over-priced.
It's great when people think the cost of a product is there perception of gluing free pieces of wood together by someone that gets paid $0.10.
It's actually a bit more complicated than that.
But by all means share a better price or better yet sell a competing product for $20 we will all be your customer.

Make sure the board is 100% dry before parking it on the counter.
You could even put some clear silicone rubber feet on the bottom, to keep the tannins in the wood from leaching into the quartz.
