anyone played squadrons that can give some insight on it? for $2 i dont wanna pass up a potentially fun time
$2 is a really good price for this. I played it on EA Play for free and really enjoyed it. I would've paid $10. It's short. It's not the best Star Wars space combat game (I still love Xwing vs Tie Fighter!), but it is really fun while it lasts.
Still patiently waiting for Lego Skywalker Saga to get cheaper, already played/finished it via game sharing, amazing game IMO, want my own copy to play and finish again. Ah well, the backlog is real so it can wait.
I'm considering snagging myself a copy of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, however, I will check out what it's priced at on other platforms/storefronts.

Could not stand the Force unleashed series, because comboing with a lightsaber that is supposed to cut things in half seems absolutely ridiculous to me. If you were running around with a stick beating them up then I could understand the comboing. But I expect my Star wars games to let me cut people in half with one cut unless they have a very good reason not to be.
which is why I actually like Jedi academy, if you are on the easier difficulties it really would take two or three hits and you would cut them in half. if only there was a game balanced around getting that one hit, and that one hit wins.

I played the single player on Game Pass. It's hard to pin down exactly why, but it's pretty bad. After I played it, I read some reviews and saw a lot of people saying the same thing. This is a multiplayer game with a rushed single player campaign tacked on.

If you play in VR, it's a great space shooter.

There are deals and then there is cheap, $2 is cheap on steam since you can always refund within a timeframe.
