I've seen very little information in this thread on how much the taxes and fees per month are for the line, what the activation fee for the line was, and how many months they had to pay before the discount kicked in. I'm weighing this against just getting my dad a cheap Red Pocket plan or similar. He currently has no mobile service with Xfinity.

I just received an email with a code to redeem the $180 prepaid card, but the link says, "We apologize. We have identified an error on our side. Please contact customer service at 833-409-4795." I wonder if others are getting this now too.

Edit: The link works properly now.

I can't believe this worked for my father. We signed up on 5/4/24 and got the link today 8/4/24. Paid some utility bills that where due and the rest on the xfinity cable bill in advance. Excellent! Thanks OP and Slickdeals.

Just submitted today for my father with VIC. No immediate confirmation email or otherwise, is that normal? Does the email submitted have to be the one on file with xfinity or doesn't matter?

My "estimated qualification" was July 18th. No email as of yet for the giftcard. Still says pending qualification.

I wonder how this will work for people who already have deals. For instance, i know someone who ahs a combined mobile unlimited and internet deal... If free mobile makes his internet revert to full price, he'd be out more from getting the free mobile than not getting it.

Xfinity incentive tracker said my card was emailed on August 3rd. But did not receive it. Customer support told me i could receive it 14-16 weeks after August 3rd

I also got the email a few weeks ago, but haven't used it. I finally clicked the link a few days ago and got that error. And then it seemed to work when I tried again. But that page wants me to create an account so I can spend the money on their site.

The email itself looks like I have all the info to use it as a credit/debit card. Are we restricted to that site or is that something we can ignore?

Were you able to simply use it like a typical credit/debit card? Or did you have to activate it first with that link?
