Fossil is going out of the smartwatch business so there might not be an update to the wearOS going forward but it should work well with all Android phones for a while.

The Watch 4 Classic excellent condition is only $65 on ebay. It will out perform and outlive this. It may have high trade in value when Samsung has one of those watch deals too. My Active2 has $200 TIV a few months ago.
Like, most activity watches can go past 24hrs even while GPS tracking.
