is this the old model or the new model? i remember something about the way to tell them apart was the cord at the bottom either exited the front or back of the base.

ive been using a DIY with a govee RGBIC strip wrapped around an up-right pole lamp.

It's the new model. Read the description: they are talking about the new packaging.

Is this dimmable? I want to put it in my media room and would like to dim it to create the home theater ambiance.

I have this light and it is excellent. No complaints at all. Dimmable, sturdy, and bright enough to light up the room, especially for zoom calls.

Are we sure this is the new model?
In the specs, it lists the height at 57" which is the height of the old model. (The new model height is 55")

Can this be programmed using automations? My current setup uses a smart switch to automatically turn on a lamp at sunset and off at 11 p.m. I would like to eliminate the smart switch and just use this.

This model doesn't support the new Matter smart home connectivity standard. Matter promises interoperability between devices from multiple brands and appears poised to become the industry standard.

Is anyone else able to duplicate this deal? Every time I try the RGBICWW comes out to be $85.50 and the RGBICW ends up being $67.50.
