It was a short story first. Arguably one of the best short stories ever written. Anyone who hasn't read the short story should track it down. Definitely worth it.

A solid story, but not one I'd pay for except hard copy (limited re-read value). The commies in my city put up a giant book depository that costs nothing. It's unreal. Prime real estate, too.

Daniel Keyes Moran was online under the screen name "Fat Sam". He did say that "Religion keeps monkey's in line". Then he actually went blind in one eye.

I don't wish he goes completely blind, no I don't, no sir. But if he did, he would turn to the very God that he mocked. If he did, he would say, "Science damn you!'.
