Thanks to Deal Hunter SehoneyDP for finding this deal.
Product Description:
During installation only need to use two cables from the power supply to power the CONNECT. While the power supply itself supports the +12 V, -12 V and +5 Vsb rails, the CONNECT converts this power to provide the +3.3 V and +5 V outputs from the +12 V rail.
Unsurpassed silent performance in Fanless Mode. The fan control button at the back of the power supply allows users to customize cooling needs by selecting between Seasonic S2FC (fan control without Fanless Mode) and S3FC (fan control including Fanless Mode)

The idea is to mount the backplane piece on the back side of the motherboard tray.
So, if a case has any space for routing cables behind there then it is likely that this PSU will work fine.
I would guess most modern midsize cases would work well with this.

Sorry for the noob question, but what is a good case to use with this power supply? Or is it universal?

This would be good in one of those Hyte brand style cases where there's at least 3 inches of room on the backside of the motherboard. The Corsair 5000D MIGHT be a good candidate here but I have some doubts. I helped someone build in one of those and I was expecting more on the backside then what was actually there
Its not universal, its a specific seasonicone if case. Its been a while since i looked it up, but the power supplies are awesome, but the cases you have to use are kinda sub par for the money
No it's not.
That's a different PSU.
This does have a case made for it but it's designed to be compatible with any case that has the space.

Case specific, I have this and this goes with the sea sonic syncro q7, Newegg used to bundle discount them together.
