The new 8pc insulated slim-tip blade driver set [homedepot.com] has ECX #2, and it's a pretty nice set. They may be discontinuing/clearing these ones out in favor of those blade/driver sets.


These are the older solid ones without swappable blades.. but they're still good screwdrivers.

Are the bits swappable? I wish they were, but I suppose I never see anything other than cross or flathead screws anyway. For household appliances, at least.

You could value the screwdrivers at about $8 a pop. So really you get the ecx for free, which you could always sell for $8 somewhere I bet.

What we really wanted was a nice socket set, but you went with the screwdrivers. It was the thought that counted, though.

I have this set.

They have a nice pop when your removing and installing the bits. It gives a sense that the bit is installed and not going to slip out when you use it.
