I only need it to remove tape/stickers from boxes or vehicles. I use shrink wrap occasionally. A hair blower works for me, but afaik they don't make cordless hair dryers.
Plus, a bald man standing in line to buy a hair dryer looks really dumb...

Would definitely be careful using a heat gun on a vehicle.
I didn't even look at if this has temp control but temp control is useful of course. Most guns have multiple settings. low, med, high, higher, extra fan power, those types of things.
