My local store has this for the regular higher price. Not listed as clearance
I believe it's clearances for all stores. But not all of them update the physical price. If you have them check price, it will reflect clearance price. The 24" trimmer was listed at $120 in store. When they scanned it, it came out to $50

do you have a link / sku for this 24inch trimmer? cant find anything online
The trimmer almost immediately broke when I tried it today. The line trim piece isn't sharp enough to cut the line and so it just gets beat to shit and knocked out of its plastic holder; rendering it useless.
The blower is pretty damn weak as well. I'll be returning.
I have a small yard (500 sq feet) and hope to know whethet it's powerful enough. I have 18v batteries. Not sure how fast it can get the job done. 40v costs a little more. Blower is not necessary for me.
I have a 3/4 acre yard and use the trimmer all the time, it's worked for years with no problems. The blower wasn't enough for me but it has its uses to just blow off the deck, clean out the garage etc. a very good deal for both
Have a small yard.. use trimmer for cutting out weeds, trimming grass etc , blower for blowing away dry leaves from the ground, any dust in the garage, deck.. You get spools from amazon once this gets over. Has worked fine for my spaces. I have three batteries that i got from other gadgets. so keep them charged on rotation when i am using this to do the trimming etc.. lasts for about 20 to 30 minutes and keep changing the batteries so i dont run out of juice. Has held well into my second year of spring cleaning. Recommend!
As others have said, you need to go into the store. My local store did not have this advertised online but I grabbed the last one off the shelf for $99 at South Portland, Maine.
The blower isn't the strongest but as others have said, perfect for a deck or garage but not moving wet leaves off grass.
for anyone in the Portland area looking for the combo, south Beaverton (hwy 217) has at least 2 left after I got mine. was above the cage and required a ladder to get to. you'll want to look for the last 3 digits of the store sku (548) to see them.

Thanks for the info, I visited another Pdx Home Depot and although supposedly having 5 in stock they have no clue exactly where.
Assuming the Beaverton location still has 1 or 2 left, can you give some directions on whereabouts in the store yours was located? To the right or left of the store? Which aisles was it located near, for example by paint, lumber, etc.? Any info/suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

remember this is South Beaverton off 217, and not science park drive.
You need to go to the aisle where the trimmers are. The units are above the cages, where you would normally see over stock. You should be able to see large stickers with the last 3 digits showing 548 on them

Thanks for the quick response and reminder of the correct location.
How will I know if it's on sale close to me? I need these...
There's the obvious sarcastic answers, but really just do what OP said, go to Home Depot website, and if it's on clearance at your local store it'll say to check in store.
