I have a few of these strategically placed through my home and they work very well for gnats, moths, and occasional flys. I have them all on smart plug to go on at night and off in the morning.
One in the kitchen near where we keep fresh fruit and near the sink. One in the garage by the house door and one in the back of the living room by the sliding glass doors. Being in Florida, whenever a door or window is opened even for 1.5 seconds, the gnats will come in. Really does an awesome job catching the little buggers, especially the ones that get in the garage and would otherwise find their way into the house when we go in and out. If you have those gnats that like to live in the garbage disposal under the sink surfaces, this will really help get them under control fast. We had an issue with disposal gnats and proper cleaning helps of course, but this thing knocked them out as well.
There are plenty of generic glue board refills on Amazon. I Think I got like 20 for $10 and they work just as good as the included ones. One glue board will last basically until it is completely filled up. I change them maybe every 3 months for good measure or the garage one every month or so, because it fills up fast.
One last tip, don't place these too close to windows, especially if you have older windows where they can find their way in. Bugs are attached to this type of light and they will party on your window if they see it reflecting on it. I moved our first one further down the line from the window in the kitchen, because they were so attracted to the light that I think it was bringing them in when they otherwise wouldn't figure out how to get in, at least not in large numbers. We have since gotten new windows and I doubt that would be an issue now, but placing the bug trap further away did work for when we had issues with the old windows.
FYI, I don't think I've ever seen one of these catch a mosquito. Really these seem to work mostly on gnats and small flys/moths. That being said, we don't really have much of a mosquito issue here, at least not with them getting in the house.
I've had 3 of these running every night for about 2 years now and no issues, just an embarrassingly large number of dead gnats 😬😁

I see what this person is talking about. It is a link to several various insect killing products, with a range of prices from $5 on up. If you click on the link, this insect killer is still $10. The $5 product is an insect spray. So, no this particular product was not $5 last week.

Great for drain flies and those random small, flying, insects that always seem to get in when you open doors and windows. The generic refills work just fine (make sure you get the right size). Simple little device that works well.

I stopped buying these and instead use cut up bottles with apple cider vinegar, soap, and water, and usually a little extra fruit rind or something, put these around kitchen and living room, works amazing, attracts and kills flies all the little flying bugs, and I let them sit for months, without refill or anything

FWIW, it works but will only pass if you live by yourself, or have an extremely pragmatic and non-aesthetically concerned spouse, or do not have cats.

There is no way to make them not look like half drunk cups of beverages lying around.

Thanks. The woot version looks more compact, if that matters to someone.

I have a 50% off for this knockoff. Looks like the refills (https://www.amazon.com/Refill-Saf...1_7?sr=8-7) would work?
