Edit: I really dig the entire Warhammer thing (but don't like turn based RTS games) so will buy instantly when they add an offline mode.
BTW, which blunder do you speak of? The only outrage I have seen recently was the entire Helldivers / PSN thing which seems silly at best.
However to me (not harcore about canon) it is like Star Trek adding black Vulcans. The entire story requires suspending major belief, but this is where people choose to draw the line.
