Dang, I just noticed I got dinged for $140 on the order for "Premium Support with Onsite Service After Remote Diagnosis, 1 Yr" ($84), and 1 year of Premium Support ($60). Didn't recall checking those boxes. Think I can get Dell to remove those AFTER it ships, but before it arrives? I don't want to do anything to jeopardize the order.

You didnt get "dinged" it was part of the package and it's itemized on the order lol. I used to be able to have them remove/refund that and end up with Basic warranty but last times I tired they removed the warranty all together so I had to call back and purchase Basic warranty which defeated the whole purpose.

My order shows these 2 items as well.
Item Discount 1 $2,015.73 $2,015.73
Premium Support with Onsite Service After Remote Diagnosis, 1 Year
1 $84.09 $84.09
Premium Support, 1 Year
1 $60.17 $60.17

My concern is it will mess up the 15% cash back if the order is partially refunded.

For clarification the system no longer shows on the dell page but you can click the link in the thread. The thread takes you to a system with the same price, but has a 4080 super instead of a 4090; so if you're using the link just keep an eye out that its a different system now with the same price.

They switched the video card to a 4080 super and put the item back online at that same link, so now I've got another order to cancel. Good times.
Are you saying you ordered the 4090 and they then switched your order to look like you ordered the 4080 Super? I hope you took screenshots. My order sheet definitely still shows the 4090.

My order and confirmation still shows the 4090. I think we are good.

Just updated what I wrote for clarification - I was just referring to the link in the thread, its "back in stock" but not the same system. So just warning people making purchases now. I mashed the purchase button missing the fact it was a 4080 Super.

Yes, I did.
ZeeOhhSixSo we have a total of 2 cancellation reports in this thread. One person said their card was declined and they contacted CS who told them they'd get sent to another department who could send them a form to enter a new card, but instead the order was canceled. Another user said they placed an order, but received a cancellation with an out of stock message.

Has anyone that received an actual order *confirmation* had their order subsequently canceled? If not, I think we are in the clear.
EDIT: Shipped and will be delivered tomorrow.

Mine is still valid and good to go.

Got my cha-ching email today. What a deal this was!!! 10% sign up, 15% CB site, 2% CC CB, 70 Dell Rewards. 1,941.54 shipped

This makes sense. Basically the $140 is cooked into the price itself. You can't take it out of the build.

How much were they trying to charge you for basic warranty?

my order got cancelled originally. after talked to many CS, they send me a Quote and price matched it. just got the order number now.
the down side is, even i use the cb site to place the order with the price match quote, it doesnt recognize i placed the order.
so may lose the cash back, which is suck.
on the other hand, i got a cha-ching email from the order got cancelled, not sure what will happen to it

Order this 4090 system now. Return Costco. If you get 10% coupon from email and 15% cashback, if my math is mathing, it's $1800 before tax. You're paying $700 LESS for a superior video card that'll probably last you a decade.

Is this the 4080 system you got from Costco? https://www.costco.com/cyberpower...51733.html [costco.com]
yes that is the one. but sadly this deal expired Frown

thanks for writing that. i was almost going to rush buy it since it as available but it is 4080 super not 4090. i guess the initial 4090 was probably a mistake from dell's end. lucky few scored amazing deal with 4090
