I purchased this a month or so ago for ~269. Seems great for the price, a lot of features that aren't there on others for a comparable price: rack and pinion fence, folding stand, compatible with dado.

The only "issue" I've ran into from limited use so far is that it would be nice if it stood a little higher. I didn't use the blade that came with it, but opted for a better higher tooth blade.

Not OP but I purchased this 2 months ago for $270 and am 6'7". I didn't feel it was excessively short or dangerous (outside of a table saw being very dangerous obviously). For me the biggest issue is no outfeed or infeed support, I built a mobile cart to raise it to my preferred height and push it up against my workbench for outfeed support to address those issues for me.

This was my first table saw and I'm really happy with it thus far. Have used it with a dado stack, cut bevels, rips , cross cuts with no issue. My next upgrade for it will be to either make a crosscut sled or upgrade the miter gauge, which isn't of the highest quality.

Highly recommend for a beginner on a budget.

Best TS for the money. Look at any review. R & P, out of box the blade & fence square to table and even the tape measure matched up to the fence. Yes like all TS's push stick, blade and miter that come with it need to be replaced and they are all loud. I built a 4 x 8 work bench and have never used the legs. Love the R & P, no tap, tap, tap. Fyi TS's are very dangerous, in USA 30,000 emergency room visits a year. Never use miter AND fence at same time! I'd buy it again.

Final comment: the government is considering requiring all future TB's to have quick-stop tech. probably a good idea but if it happens, the price of all TS's will go up in price by $200.

I have this saw, and I love this saw. So much value for the money, perfect for a homeowner of avid DIYer. My only reco's would be:
A - Ear protection. A must. This thing is LOUD
B - Get a better push stick or GrapperPro type thing for safety reasons. If this is your first saw, it's a little nerve-wracking to push things past the blade
C - Get a right angle or square thingy to dial everything in perfectly
D - Optional but not necessary: Get a new blade. I'm still using the included blade but I upgraded to a CMT in my miter saw and it is AWESOME. Diablo are great too, it really does make a diff
All these tips apply to ANY table saw!

I also purchased for $269, a month or so ago, and am extremely happy with it. I just used it to rip a bunch of vinyl plank for a flooring project, which is why I purchased it to begin with, but I feel the accuracy is good enough to do more precise woodworking, except for the mitre gauge, but there are plenty of after market alternatives. This is a fantastic price for a well made table saw. You're right, that the legs could be a little longer, and wheels would be nice, but I didn't have any trouble moving it around. I set it up outside, and just picked it up and brought it inside every night without folding the legs down. It wasn't hard to move. When I was finished with my project, I folded up the legs and put it on a shelf in my shed. It stores nice and compact. I would highly recommend this saw.

Is this worth it, since it has a 25.5" rip capacity, compared to the dewalt @ 32.5"?
This Skil can also rip 4" which I'mguessingg the DeWalt can't. Trade offs..

Alternate code: SAVE10% will work too, if OP's code doesn't for some reason.

Grabbed one. Was looking for a good deal on cheap table saw that I will probably only use a few times a year. This is a lot better than any of the busted used ones for sale locally!!!😂 Big Dewalt guy, but for a little more than 1/3 the price of the 10" Dewalt, and $100 cheaper than the 8" onsale locally, this is a steal.

I snagged one early in the year for around $249 from Walmart if I remember correctly, but I just took it out of the box last weekend to use it for the first time since my old table was still alive. This saw is great for the price. I'm a weekend DIY warrior and will sometimes use a table saw regularly, other times I won't use it for many months on end, so while I wanted that $500 Dewalt setup, I couldn't justify it.

I've used this about 5-6 times to cut some boards and the saw is great. MUCH nicer than my old Skil that didn't even have a riving knife. Out of the box it was almost perfectly set up, the blade angle was 89.9 degrees using a digital angle tool, and the fence was off by just a tiny bit. A simple screw and the saw was straight, and I was off to the races.

I am using a 60 tooth Diablo thin kerf blade and its performing flawlessly.

The fold out legs are really nice, the height seems fine, and I'm really like it. While I hate running a table saw no matter what for its danger, this saw felt good, much safer than my old one, and I don't see why it won't last at least a decade or longer.
