While the terms seem to stress that you need to create a new P+ account, I was able to sign up with my existing account that had no active sub. Next billing date is Nov 6 so no need to create a whole new paramount account.
If you have Walmart+ you basically get this too, but it last as long as you are a member, not just 6-months.

Just got an email saying 6 months of paramount+ for mint customers. Not sure if it's targeted or for all mint customers

I got a free month as per usual just by re signing up. Canceled right away and they threw 2 months free at me.

This promo doesn't seem that good considering I've had more free months than paid for months

Can't beat the free deal. It's good. But the ads really bother me. While I opted for this offer, I will switch to monthly free subscription using the promo code that Paramount releases which gives you ad free experience.

Do you know if Mint roams the same amount of countries as T-Mobile? I'm thinking of switching but I get free international roaming in over 100 countries and it's the only thing keeping me...

They make you check countries name by name, but since Bahrain and Afghanistan are included, it's probably worldwide Wink

Mint has been coming on strong with the random deals lately. They just cut International roaming pass prices in half, then added free everyday roaming to/from Canada, and now this (all in the past month). I switched over from Verizon a few months ago as a trial run (after almost 20 years) and couldn't be happier. And 1/4 the price…I think finalizing the merger woth T Mobile has something to do with it.
And, I am thinking of moving on from Mint mainly because of the cost. I have had Mint for 4 years. I have no problem with the service (I really don't need Paramount+ or roaming in Canada), but I have found less expensive prices for the same service (they all use TMobile) with US Mobile and Tello. I am not someone that needs unlimited or a lot of data. When you add in all the fees, Mint is now more than $200/year while the price of the other two is less.

What's the difference in basic plan vs $11.99?

I switched from Mint to US Mobile yesterday a year after getting the Pixel phone deal bundled with the $180 plan for $90. That plan was renewing for full price, so I got something cheaper from USM -- the 2 GB shared plan for $10/month. I was shocked at how fast a speed test was with the non-de prioritized Verizon network after coming from GSMT.

I hear you completely, I'm only on the 5gb plan and don't need unlimited at all. I just find the seamlessness of their service to be so good (WAY better than AT&T or Verizon) and the coverage in my neighborhood is also better than Verizon. Definitely not perfect, like the lack of Apple Watch standalone support, but I'm still new with the MVNO carriers.

I just re-upped for my second 3mo contract, so still taking it slow to see if things get better or worse from here.

All Verizon ever did was RAISE our rates and put up barriers to everything. Mint has been very refreshing.

I got the same email so I think it's prob for all Mint users.
I'm big into 90s movies so there are some that I will enjoy on Paramout but if you aren't into older stuff it may not be the most desirable service.

I didn't get email
