So I had to look that up. It's $30 a month and every 6 months they send you a new pair and you send back your old pair for recycling. Comes out to ~$180 for each pair of shoes 2x a year. Seems to be marketed towards avid runners. People can make up their own mind if that's worth it or not.

Got a pair of Cloud 5 Coasts a year ago and they are my least worn shoe. Get them if you enjoy the design aesthetic, but don't get them if you want a running shoe that you can run in. Look for deals from brands like Brooks, Hoka, Saucony, and Mizuno instead

Seeking suggestions for running shoes. I tried Cloud but wasn't impressed given the price. I currently have Adidas Ultraboost and Asics Gel 5, finding them comfortable. Any recommendations from the brands you mentioned for my next pair?
My current shoes are a pair of Brooks Hyperion Tempos that I got for $99 a year ago and they're sitting at around 150 miles and a pair of Mizuno Wave Rider 23s at $120 a few years ago and they're at about 700 miles. Wave Riders will be a more traditional running shoe that you can walk around and feel comfortable in. The Brooks are very grippy and you'll definitely feel it if you wear them around casually.

Is the waterproof shoe good for casual walk when raining?
I really like my Vessi's for waterproof needs when walking. I had onclouds waterproof and didn't think that they were really that waterproof

I purchased a pair of their running shoes and they had an atrocious squeak whenever I ran/walked anywhere. Tried to get a replacement and the CS was horrible. They basically said not our problem and sometimes sneakers squeak. I own over a dozen other running shoes and not a one squeaks.

Did you get your credit card company involved?

Go to this site: https://runrepeat.com/ They measure the length and fit of shoes. Search for the shoe you own (Venture 8 for me) and then compare to the shoe you want to buy. Might help.

I haven't but I am still waiting for them to ship my Brooks I ordered on 5/1 with an estimated delivery of 5/22. The sale ended and lots of ppl have said that the 5/22 or in this sale the 5/28/29 date is the max allowed time, but my shoes haven't moved.

You only have 2 hours to cancel after you order. So we will see what happens. Just be aware that most credit cards have a contesting period of 90-120 days from the time the order was placed.

Right. They should offer their recycling to anyone that buys that shoe and orders a new pair after 6 months.
Makes more sense, doesn't it? Nobody should have to pay more to recycle.

You want a versatile pair for everyday runs, a responsive pair for speed work, and a max cushion for slow and easy on the joints runs.

I'm enjoying the Brooks Levitate and Saucony Ride for everyday runs, and Asics Nimbus and Saucony Triumph for max cushion. Was thinking about getting Adidas Boston 12 for speed work, but currently using Saucony Kinvara, Brooks Launch, and Mizuno Sayonara. All good.

Personally have seen a decline in build quality/longevity in Nike, so that's the only brand I'm avoiding.

Got a pair of Cloud 5s and pair of Hoka Ones. I much prefer the ON. Just finished a half in them a week ago.

Waterproof running boots?
Correct think of them as high top running shoes. North Faces brand I tried. They're awesome they weigh as much as a basketball shoe I believe this is what hiking boots will morph into
