So I had to look that up. It's $30 a month and every 6 months they send you a new pair and you send back your old pair for recycling. Comes out to ~$180 for each pair of shoes 2x a year. Seems to be marketed towards avid runners. People can make up their own mind if that's worth it or not.

Got a pair of Cloud 5 Coasts a year ago and they are my least worn shoe. Get them if you enjoy the design aesthetic, but don't get them if you want a running shoe that you can run in. Look for deals from brands like Brooks, Hoka, Saucony, and Mizuno instead

Got a pair of Cloud 5 Coasts a year ago and they are my least worn shoe. Get them if you enjoy the design aesthetic, but don't get them if you want a running shoe that you can run in. Look for deals from brands like Brooks, Hoka, Saucony, and Mizuno instead

This company is a joke. They have a "subscription" shoe that cost $30 month in the name of sustainability. Trying to take the world one step closer to preventing anyone from owning anything.

Why not just buy 2 pairs of shoes per year at full price? There is no scenario where that subscription makes sense.

Its also the green thinking of today. Can't afford to put a 2800 transmission in your 7 year old car. Just scrap it for the planet and hop on another payment. We can get you 899 for 7 years. Today's world is about debt slaves and payments not value and real cost of ownership. Rant over

Seeking suggestions for running shoes. I tried Cloud but wasn't impressed given the price. I currently have Adidas Ultraboost and Asics Gel 5, finding them comfortable. Any recommendations from the brands you mentioned for my next pair?
