Isn't that pretty much every brand? I have yet to see a brand that someone doesn't complain about. Dell, Lenovo, asus, hp, etc. Literally every single brand. I follow these laptop posts religiously.

I used the old SD moto...Buy now and think later. Since it's not even in stock yet, I will have time to do my research. Great price if it ships.

Got this over a month ago. Very nice laptop. Antiglare ads a bit of that fuzz, but colors are incredibly accurate. Works really well. Charges fast and holds a charge a long time. Very nice laptop.

I asked the same question earlier, based on the feedback that I got, this deal seems to be better. As my order from Amazon has no shipping date yet, I am keeping the Lenovo from Costco in its shipping box for now.

I also purchased one on the 6th as a graduation gift and am still waiting for it to ship. Hopefully it'll work nice for my neice with epilepsy.

I ordered on the 6th at 4pm CST. It shipped yesterday and estimated delivery is May 15.

I have no doubt everyone who got an order in "sold by Amazon" will eventually have it shipped.

Got mine yesterday and set it up today so these are some very preliminary thoughts. Solid build, no issues setting it up. I appreciate it that it came with a sleeve, it's my first Acer, so maybe that standard for the brand.

Had to get rid of a bit of bloatware, like booking.com. I'm not a huge fan of Windows 11 personal, but that is nothing to do with the computer itself.

It runs a bit hot on the bottom when doing resource intensive things, but the fan seems relatively quiet. No concerns with battery life.

Appearance wise it looks a bit boxy and utilitarian to me, but I didn't buy it for the appearance.

So far, I'm pleased and I think it will be a great little computer for what I need it for!!

Thanks for the input. So what do you estimate battery life is? Is there a backlit keyboard? How is the screen?

Also, for anybody that got it and has been bold enough to open it up already - is there a hidden, but working second M.2 slot under the battery cable?

What about the weight - there seemed to be some controversy about the weight being higher than the spec says (2.76 lbs)?
