Read large number of negative reviews on other sites. Maybe if you drilled some holes in the back it might help with airflow and smoke. I've fixed that kind of issue with similar cheap stoves in years past. Not sure what other modifications can be done to fix the complaints. Stack stainless appears to heat weld together. Rest of the complaints were from brain dead users.

Id imagine if you get going and warm it up so the draft starts kicking you'd be fine....the longer the chimney the more up draft so you could add a section conversely make sure the chimney is not leaking... It's not really rocket science.. hard to beat 30 bux
