I think the normal sale price for this is around $17, so this seems great. I've played and beaten this game. Highly recommend.

You'll recognize elements from bg3 but because they weren't trying to follow d&d rulesets it's different enough to be a worthwhile time sink. Div os2 really plays into environmental effects so there's constantly decisions to make to try and leverage your environment on each fight; bg3 has this but to a much lesser extent.

One thing to note is that it's much harder than BG3, especially in the beginning.

Is there any reason to get the Eternal Edition? It doesn't look like it actually adds any content as far as more gameplay or am I wrong?

So true i beat it twice and i wish i had more free time i would play it again. I still listen to the soundtrack from time to time.

BG3 is great but i liked divinity 2 story much better and the soundtrack is non existant in BG3.

Divinity also got me hooked way way more than BG3.
