The only way 16 people are fitting in there is if they are newborns straight from the womb. Otherwise, you could probably expect to get around 6 or 7 regular sized adults.

Agreed. I hate the way they described based on "person" it can fit, like sleeping shoulder to shoulder to one another. I measured the floor space it can fit 4 queen mattresses at most, so fitting 8 person is about right.
