I can't speak for this specific brand, never heard of it but doesn't mean it's not good.
With that said, my personal opinion, don't cheap out on EV chargers. You're not powering your $800 cellphone. You're powering a $50K vehicle. And if build quality is shoddy you're potentially risking a fire.
Again, my 2 cents. There are plenty of known brands for around $500
Seen a lot of posts about what size circuit you need for X size charger and so forth. This chart should help with that along with additional info about the speed of the charge based on the size of circuit/charger you are considering. Hope this helps everyone!

60 48 11.5 kW 32.2
50 40 9.6 kW 26.88
40 32 7.7 kW 21.56
30 24 5.7 kW 15.96
20 16 3.8 kW 10.64

UL Certified
edit: Received the Level1-2 a few days ago. No UL anywhere 🤦 ♀️
Been looking to stop using my mobile chargers and put them back into the vehicle. So ordered a pair of 40A ones. Will post on how they behave once I receive them.

For these you need to make sure your house has 40A available capacity, right? Most older homes are only 100A, which leaves some room for fridge, electric oven, microwave and such.

I would be interested but no UL or ETL certification.
Both items are UL certified. See the last line

I thought the charger was built into the vehicle? this is just an EVSE that outputs AC not DC, it appears there is no rectifier so it is just an EVSE not a charger (which is likely on board the vehicle)?
Charger is hardwired to the power source, instead of plugged into a socket. Usually that's recommended as it's less problematic (e.g., socket can melt)
In for 1. Have 3EV and 1 PHEV but EV's are all leased and good to have a portable one that will hopefully do level 2 when staying at a vacation rental, etc. Ones that came with the cars are all Level 1.
I'd say no, but it can depend. I have a Bolt and charge at 48 amp with a hardwired unit. Car will fully charge in about 6 hours. If it was 32a (which is the charger included with the car) it would be closer to 9 hours. Most people aren't fully charging and discharging every time they plug in. The extra speed is nice, but I wouldn't spend an extra hundred on this deal.
Also nice to see this is UL certified, so unlikely to burn your house down or damage your car. Lots of the Amazon no name chargers are not UL Listed or UL Certified, so this looks like it could be a solid bet.
I am not sure this is the case, but I've read elsewhere that some of the no-name brands will claim UL certification when it's just for one part, and not the whole device. If I'm reading the specs right on this one, it seems to say the cable itself is UL Certified so I'm wondering if this is one of those where only that part is certified.
Agreed but even if this is at least level 1 then it's convenient to leave in car and hopefully can handle that safely. Also good to check with your utility - mine has ChargePoint Flex for $400 after instant rebate (that's what I have installed at home and it's been solid), through I should've gotten a 2nd one when I could for like $100 back then (about 3 years ago) when the rebates were like ~$500 but my wife woud've though I was nuts to keep a spare.
