If you're going to put these outside or in your garage I highly recommend spraying the bottom of the unit with spider poison first, there's a deep set waffle pattern on the bottoms of the shelves that spiders love making homes of. Speaking from experience

Bought these recently. They're really low quality. They barely hold together if you try to slide them empty. Wouldn't buy again.

Really easy to move and put together heavy duty shelves that cost 4x more, makes sense, why save $300 if you don't need it

I've had a set of these for 24 years and they are still in good condition.

Wood is a lot more sustainable and really not hard to build one for yourself...
and gonna cost a bit more with much bigger time investment. There are plenty of use cases for these and plants is one.

Spiders eat the cockroaches. Why would I want to hurt that which removes that which would hurt me?

Do you know for how long? I've been looking for a set of shelves like this and can't find that deal anywhere on the Costco app, even as an in-warehouse deal.

These are ok'ish. I have these from a previous deal. They are an absolute pain to get assembled because the plastic is so poorly made. There is tons of flashing and they just barely align.
But once up, they can hold an incredible amount of weight. And they are very light, if you do yard sales or flea markets I can see these being very helpful.

I was planning to use these for green house shelving

Do you recommend I pay substantial more for treated wood or stainless steel?
I've used these for starting seedlings. Cut a piece of 1x4 wood, screwed thru the top to hold it in place under the shelf, then screwed the LED plant light to the wood. For that, it's great.

If you plan on putting heavy pots on this, don't. For lighter weight (say, a couple 12" plastic pots) it should do okay.
