It does not redeem via Steam, however the Ubisoft Connect Launcher does work on Steam Deck so it's still playable there.

I played the trial from a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. I have it in my library to play. The map being significantly smaller is a plus for me. I'm playing through Origins now and the map is just too damn big. Half the game is travel, even with fast travel and a horse. Ubisoft clearly knew this as they put in a very shitty auto-route, but even still, you're then just starting at a screen while your character rides a horse to the next objective you just did 50 times.

Looked it up yesterday. AC Mirage is only available on Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games, not on Steam.

Origins is also very repetitive.. Go to pretty much the same enemy camps, kill the commander, loot, rinse and repeat... I miss the challenges from Unity. At least it offered some variety and different objectives.
