I got a pack of these about 6 months ago and they wouldn't work in most things. We used them in electric candles for about 2 months, then they stopped working in those as well. I e-recycled them.
are we still doing eneloop or bust?
Unless they are Made in Japan then they are not made by FDK (the company that makes eneloop, fujitsu, Ladda, etc). However I am not saying Amazon are bad but they are not comparable in quality to those but if they are close then who cares. I will say I have MIJ eneloops, energizer, fujitsu, amazon (old days) and some are going on 10 years strong. I haven't had a MIC Amazon go south yet but they def run higher internal resistance and don't hold charge as well but for non critical apps and the price they are a great value. The Amazon C-cells are def a bust. No where near nominal charge and voltage profile (sag) bad. I use AA w/ adapter which is not ideal, but eh. For the price/quality/nominal charge I favor the Ikea as #1.

EBL, tenergy, any of the other off brands have all had 50% or more failure rate (all MIC). So I will not be buying them again.

Dont know what ppl complaining about, I have these from 1 yr ago or so and they all have internal resistance of 16-18mOhm, better than brand new energizers, and comparable with original white Sanyo eneloops when they were new, like 15 yrs ago. Those white eneloops now have IR 100-200 mOhm and only good for low drain devices so these are now used in cameras and flashes where Eneloops were before

The price is regular though, I have them in my cart for awhile now, nothing changed.

Well, one thing these have going for them is it's doubtful there are counterfeit ones in the Amazon bin.

I bought some EBL rechargable many years ago and those were crap. Will my ebl charger charge these?
Agreed, EBL batteries are sucks . They inflate the mAh number. YouTube has many videos showing that.

Yes, your EBL charger will charge Amazon batteries without any problems.

I understand that everyone's experience can be different, and I may just be the exception to everyone else, but I've actually had good performance from the EBL batteries and Amazon basics. We mainly use them in kids toys, video game controllers, and Nerf guns. Don't use them too often but out of the 30 or so that I have bought over the past several years I've only had one EBL die on me. Contacting EBL support was super easy and a basically just had to provide my Amazon order number and they refunded me for the dead battery no questions asked. Reminded me to you recycled the battery if I could and that was that.

So if people are looking for less expensive rechargeable batteries I would recommend either these or the EBL.

$20.35 with Subscribe & Save? LOL, who needs twenty-four rechargeables every four months.

Yes, I realize you can cancel Subscribe & Save after your order, but I suspect many forget to do that...so for those of you ordering, remember to cancel S&S...unless you really do need 24 rechargeable every 4 months!

As someone else said above, I've found these batteries to be slightly larger than other AAs. Makes using them in some items either a super tight squeeze or even completely unable to fit. Performance-wise, I haven't had any issues, but you might need some other (rechargeable or not) brand in your battery stash just in case.

The Energizer rechargeable AA batteries also work really well. I have a dozen of them in rotation for my gaming controllers.

Not the best charger. For some reason, it likes to reject my Amazon batteries and give an error message. The same batteries charge on other chargers and work fine. YMMV

Yes, you can use the EBL charger, but like the batteries it's not a good charger. I've got one that came with a large assortment of EBL batteries. After testing and comparing it to my 'standards' I never use it.

Tenergy or whoever has the cheapest solar light batteries. They need to specifically be a low capacity otherwise the solar panels are too small to effectively recharge them due to their low charging efficiency. Typically 600-1000mAh NiCd or NIMH, doesn't really matter which.

Currently I like the Ikea Ladda batteries. Before, I have used the Eneloops and Duracell pre-charged but I prefer the Ladda now. I feel Eneloops which I have had for a long time don't hold charges for length of time anymore as far as pre-charged goes.
