That's the huge part you don't realize until you own one. It keeps your coffee at a consistent temp from the first sip to the last. i always thought these things were overpriced and ridiculous, until I was gifted one. Now i cant imagine life without it.
If you LOVE coffee or you have a big coffee drinker in your life, this is an awesome gift.

Dear god, what have we become...
I am also a slow coffee drinker, to the point where I've started using the smaller Yeti tumblers even when drinking coffee at home just to keep it hot enough to enjoy. The problem I have with using the Yeti tumblers is the same one I see people comment about here often; The coffee goes in too hot to drink, the Yeti keeps it too hot to drink for a while, then by the time its cool enough to sip, you've got about 20 minutes to finish it before it gets too cold.
I had the same personal opinion that these Ember mugs were more of a gimmick than a justified purchase, but I told myself if she was still using it after a couple months I'd have to consider getting myself one. Well, she's still using it to this day, and I decided to try it out the other day while working from home. I must say, it did exactly what it was designed to do; It kept my coffee at that perfect temperature precisely between too hot to sip and warm enough to gulp. Needless to say, I ordered myself a mug, but now I'm considering grabbing the travel mug as well.
