Now, is that just a CYA note from their lawyers rather than a hard limit....probably. I'd guess, though, that anything that stays in plastic-melting temps is going to have a shorter lifespan unless you get some sort of specialty high-temp bulb, which is likely to be way more than $7

I've also had really good experience with Feit electric products in general so I'd recommend this to anyone who wants more light out of a single socket light fixture.
For something a little different in design (and not really on sale but reasonably priced) is the 4 ft folding e26 socket light that Id prefer as it won't cast as harsh of a shadow on stuff in a room like a more singular source light fixture will: Feit Electric LED Light Panel, 4 Ft. Foldable, 40 Watts, 4000 Lumens, E26 Medium Base, 5000K Daylight, 120V, 80 CRI, 22 Years Lifetime, Frosted Bulb, Damp Rated, ADJ5000/48/5K/LED https://a.co/d/eMoxLOv

Is this safe to install in a regular joe e26 socket? Worried if it'll burn the internals.
