Unsure if you know, but the 4080super is within 2-3% performance of the normal 4080 👍
Direct from Lenovo is the newer version with the 14th-gen i9-14900KF and a 48080 SUPER for about $220 more.

https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/de...90v6000uus

Sometimes there are other codes on Lenovo (or CB sites) to get the price down. Even 10% back would make it equal to this posted deal.

EDIT: There are discounts for student, teacher, senior, etc. via ID.me. I get an extra discount of $115.92 making the total $2202 for the latest version with 14th-gen and 4080 SUPER. There is also a popular CB site offering 15% CB.
One would argue whether it's worth it compared to previous deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/17476992-lenovo-legion-t7-gaming-desktop-i7-13700kf-rtx-4070-ti-32gb-ram-1tb-ssd-1499-free-shipping

For $600, you get: 1) 13700KF --> 13900KF; 2) 4070Ti --> 4080.

I decided to splurge on this for the $600 premium. Either one would be a great deal so opted for the 4080 + i9 combo.

True, seems they've both been active on BHP for a while, the other one showed up on here one day and it's dead, I wonder if this'll be gone in less than a day too lol. Although the 4070Ti was 150 more until recently.

How exactly is this an argument when the current MSRP for the individual components pretty much aligns with that perfectly?

More expensive things cost more.

This is SlickDeals, all "better" deals require a time machine to obtain, are completely apples to oranges, or are extreme YMMV

This person almost managed the trifecta Wink

I'd be curious about the motherboard and what current power settings are for that 13900. I certainly wouldn't want it running the "performance" config of the past 2 years

Lenovo typically uses Intel reference boards.

The issue you're talking about originated on premium boards.

If you buy a prebuilt, you are more than likely insulated from that issue.

Regardless, you should be staying on top of BIOS updates.

No, oems are more likely to nerf performance than overclock, hyper conservative, not worth the rmas.

It also has an i9 F processor, pass
Get over yourself.

It's very clear you aren't going to be doing any overclocking aside from whatever you happen to see on YouTube.

This is cheaper than the new iPad Pro 1gb. Goes to show how inflated in price Apple hardware is. Is the M4 more powerful than the i9? Is the guy more powerful than a 4080?
