This TV recently released. I didn't see U8H or U8K below $899, or maybe $799, and this is supposed to be better.
Should hit $999 at some point, but I wouldn't expect $700 for some time, if at all.
I'm in the "never Hisense again" camp. Might be fine now, but the brand really turned me off in 2020 with such poor QC and build quality, maybe if Hisense started including a 5 year parts and labor warranty that covered everything I would change my opinion. I will stick with Sony and LG.

Same here my U8G Hisense the best TV picture and feature set I've owned. This new model in comparison is only $150 more than I paid almost 3 yrs ago for the U8G I have and comes with bonus NBA gift card and more features upgrade. This thread is about a deal please STOP thread crapping unless you already own this model and have issues which I doubt as it's a brand new model. NUFF SAID,

Holy moly. Hisense really believes they can charge Sony/samsung/lg prices with their garbage processing. At most worth $700 max
Yes... Hisense processing may not measure-up to the "BIG 3", but Hisense knows who they are. Hence, the Hisense pricing in this thread (65" @ $1150) isn't anywhere near that of the "BIG 3" current pricing on their 2024 Mini-LED offerings (65" @ $1900 and up)... unless you have Samsung EPP.

It's all about timing. If you want to wait 5-6 months the U8N will likely be < $1000.
I agree with you
Hisense knows their market and its probably TCL buyer or someone who has the Big 3...but is looking for a secondary TV
I am betting this his $900
I bought a 65" U8H last year on clearance for $600 at Best Buy
Its a phenomenal TV for that price..However you can really nitpick the processing against the Samsung QN90a that I also own
I have had a few hisenses and never had an issue. One of the Hisense has actually been outside in Florida humidity and still works great. I bought the u8k 75 for 1050 and a u8k 55 for 750 earlier this year and love the picture on them. I also have 2 lg c3s 55 and 65 for comparison.
