I have had this for about a year, think I paid 225 via lenovos official eBay.

It's a great tablet and still feels nice and as responsive as it was the day I set it up.

I use it strictly for gaming via emulators when on work trips. Has HDMI Out via USB C to HDMI, and pairs to a couple Bluetooth N64 controllers for some WWF No Mercy action.

Pretty simple, a lot of people use retroarch on Android. I prefer to download the emulators individually though.

This tablet is just powerful enough to run GameCube games via Dolphin Emulator in the Google Play Store.

From there, download games (roms) directly to the tablet's drive via Vimms Lair website

Then pair up with your Bluetooth controller of choice.

Not a whole lot to it. feel free to PM me if you want to talk more about it

I have both this tablet and a Samsung Galaxy tab S9. The screen on the lenovo is just as good if not better than the one on my Samsung. Of course the Samsung is faster but the Lenovo holds its own and it's not laggy at all. I use the Lenovo all day long and the Samsung at night in bed. Yes it's true about the updates being extremely slow but it is what it is with Lenovo slow ass.

I have the 4gb model that was $209 from Walmart on slickdeals. Had it a year. I'm not a power user but I like it. Oled screen is great, if you put it down to like 5% you can see some greenish areas but I never really notice. The speakers are great. Pretty snappy even with 4gb, I don't play games though.

Negative, It took forever to get Android 14.
Did you mean android 13? I can't find 14 anywhere on their forums

Got it a year ago for around the same price. Been a great and snappy little tablet for college courses etc. No issues with screen, pens and little expensive but works well. Great Oled and speakers for traveling and movies as I'm on a plane or traveling a lot. Put a glass screen protector and light case on it and it's amazing. I was a little worried about Lenovo updates but so far so good. Overall happy at the 250-350$ range and can compete at this price point with the oled screen for sure. Hopefully it helps. Been pretty happy with it!

Better off looking for so many used tab s7 or tab S8 for similar price. But I get it, it's definitely not as easy

Both the S7 and S8 do not have OLED.

My issue is that Lenovo sells a version of this tablet but with 8GB of RAM, SD870 and super fast charging FOR LESS MONEY!!!!! IN CHINA

Once I saw that... that is when I said the FU Lenovo.

The new Chinese Tablet to buy WITH ANDROID 14 is HEADWOLF. I prefer the 8.4" version.

I will share this cautionary tale every time a Lenovo tablet deal comes up. Lenovo makes some fabulous hardware and I really like their design language, but from a software side of things they're terrible. My dad got my wife and daughter each a P11 (non pro) tablet for Christmas in 2021. After a couple of software updates Lenovo broke the Widevine level of both the P11's and the P11 Pros. So it made streaming content from major streaming services like Netflix, HBO Max, etc... only stream in SD. It was offputting enough for both of them to stop using the tablets. Lenovo pushed out an OTA in response, not super quickly, to the Pro tablets, but the regular P11's sat with Widevine L3 for a long time before Lenovo fixed it.

So I know this seems to bode well for this current deal, but it should be a red flag in general for Lenovo as a company. From a hardware side of things I'm in, from how they handle updates on the backend it gives me long pause.

I would love to get this tablet but just can't recommend Lenovo android devices. They put out compelling hardware and specs with great prices and then have terrible support and security updates. Too many of their android devices are sold and forgotten about and it leaves the buyers with devices that are great in theory but become bigger and bigger security risks the longer they own them. I still like Lenovo products but just wish they would respect their customers more when it came to keeping their android devices secure and updated.
