At first glance I thought this was a really good deal given the CPU is a rebranded 6800u. After trying to confirm that, I found it is actually a rebranded 5825U. So a 5825U is not bad for the price but also not great. The biggest problem is that this has Vega integrated graphics and no USB 4.0 (I believe).

If build quality is good then I think it's worth it.

1080p is plenty for most users at 14" screen especially when it comes to efficiency if the built-in battery is not that huge (ie. 50+ Whr) on top of a processor that sucks a lot of power.
This is a 15w processor

Tempting. Still on a Thinkpad T450s
I would just decide how much you want to spend then go to eBay and get an X1 carbon that fits your price.

Screen hinge will break within months, trust me.
Are there any recent laptops where this isn't an issue? Saw the same comment on an HP laptop a few days ago. And another post said don't buy Asus because their support is a scam. So which brands does that leave?
