And, I can here to say what others beat me to- this poor person's inbox!!

75% effective would make it worth getting but I've seen some vaccines that were "100% effective" that in the real world didn't come anywhere close. Hard to believe people who have a financial incentive.

When checking your dog for ticks, don't forget to check their gum line. I saw a photo of a tick half sticking out from under a dog's gums. This was discovered by a dog groomer. I never would have even thought to check in this location.

Even a 10% reduction in risk is good for something with almost zero chances of (real) side effects.

Darn shame this is no longer available.

I've had to use a Tick Twister a few times. I've been surprised how well it works each time I've used it. They're a big improvement over tick keys or tweezers.

This reminds me. Folks, if you have a 3d printer, please print a bunch of tick removers and place them in your homes, cabins, cars, etc and give a bunch of them to family and friends to do the same. The cost of the filament to make each tick removal tool is just pennies (as you probably know already if you have a printer) but the benefit of properly tick removal is crucial. I've known people who've contracted lymes disease and it's no joke.

This is a good opportunity to mention that there's a conspiracy theory that the US government accidentally released tickborne Lyme disease at their insect-borne bioweapon research facility near Lyme, Connecticut.

The facility was real and the bioweapons were real but the US government has assured us that they didn't create Lyme.

Agreed! That's why I volunteered for the vaccine study. I'd never been in a study become but ticks/lyme is so abundant where we are.
Bonus- maybe might be vaccinated against Lyme…and get paid a small amount periodically.
