Been looking for a decent 4k 120hz TV. This checks the boxes but I have no experience with Sam's. Curious about how the 5 year warranty works. If I got a membership just for this and then let it lapse, would that void the warranty? If it does, could I just renew when I make a warranty claim if needed?

The 5 year warranty is through Allstate not through Sam's Club. When you purchase the TV you'll get an email from Allstate with your warranty information. I got the email the next day so it might take up to 24 hours to receive it.
