PP is what your Keurig and yogurt cups are made from. It is a soft plastic that easily flexes, bends, dents, and develops cracks. That's why Samsonite calls this series of travel cases Hyperflex.
PC is hard, high-impact plastic. That's what phone cases, protective glasses, some Keurig coffeemaker outer cases, and some home appliance cases are made of. Most of the time it will withstand drops and serious abuse.

If you are going to use this Samsonite case mostly to take it with you in an airplane cabin or use it in your car, that's a decent sturdy case for that. If you ever check it into checked baggage, then it could be scratched and will easily crack during the rough handling.
From my understanding, pp (polypropylene) is lighter than pc (polycarbonate). Polypropylene is the middle ground compared to pc and abs, so it is not as strong as polycarbonate but stronger than abs.

The first thing to break on any Samsonite is a zipper. Only zipperless models are worth it from this brand, imho.

I dunno when 4 wheeled spinners became so popular over 2 wheeled bags. It's never been the case (for me) where I've cracked a PP or ABS before a wheel breaks or falls off. I have spent well over $1k just on luggage over the years. Gone through many warranty claims and repair kits. So far the most effective means to prolong life is to find a wheel repair kit that works for your bags. The two-wheel bags are easiest to repair and can take much more abuse. However it's hard to find a good PC bag which is compatible with the roller blade wheel and axle kits.
4 wheels are more reliable when you have your hands full. I own the 29inch samsonite which is working for me over 5 years. Dont buy cheap brands. Buy once and use it for years.

However i dont understand this size. You cant use it as carryon, neither its large enough for check in.

They hold about twice as much as a carryon without being so big they don't fit in the back of your SUV or risk overweight fees. You can easily pack for 10+ days in a bag this size with even a tiny bit of care.

I bought this when it was $100 from the same seller. Not the greatest. Feels light and sort of cheap. Worth it for the $75 I guess.

I got one last year. Checked in, and when I picked it up, one of the corners cracked. These hard side luggages are easily cracked from luggage handlers, throwing them or dropping them on hard grounds. I only use soft side to check in since.

Not sure what the big deal about expandable is. Those are close to the allowable size limit for most airlines. If they expanded, they'd be over...

The delsey bag from costco is PC and the wheels should be screw in. It looks like you can buy replacement wheels and easily change them out. Many wheels are riveted and more of a pain to replace.

I suppose I care more about our what's in my luggage versus the luggage itself. Prefer the hard plastics all day.

I only buy Away luggage now because of their warranty, not because I love the product.

They will repair or replace any issue forever- and I've gotten several parts replaced and one full suitcase.
