The infamous 'commercial' will cause this release to flop but that's just my humble opinion. I'm going to wait for the price to drop to $650. I'm in no hurry.

9th gen for the win. It's my Netflix machine when all the kids go to sleep. I ended up getting a 10th gen recently but I realized I use my phone and work laptop for everything and no real use case for an ipad

For just Netflix it's absolutely true. 7th gen iPad works too if all you do is Netflix. The speaker suck though and I do hate the big bezel and that button. Just too unsightly for me at this point.

Now I've tried Tandem OLED 1000 nits (outdoor under the sun too) I'll never want another iPad without a similar display.

It's like some people buys a car with doors and 4 seats, they don't need fancy stereo, faster engine (why do people need 600+hp when speed limit is 70 in more states?), nicer rims, leather? or cool features like autopilot. Both get you from A to B (Netflix use case), one is just a lot more expensive and hav
e things that some people don't care about.

I use my phone and laptop for most things too but I've been using iPad more on the side play content and occasionally do some video editing that can't kill the device.

11" Pro M4 viewing distance at arm's length gives me the same viewing perspective as my 85" TV at home so I essentially have an 85" OLED on my next always even if I am out of the house. #WorthTheMoneyToME
