This is Purina brand garbage. If you feed your animals this, look at what happened with farmers using Purina's Organic (theoretically, way better quality) feed on their farms for chickens.

TLDR: Farmer that always fed this noticed hens stopped laying eggs. Thought it was some odd behavioral/environmental thing… By happenstance, had to use another feed and they started laying again.

This is great for people who feed crap to their animals. Purina has never been actually thought of as quality or healthy food. In fact they are more like the McDonald's of pet food. So good deal for some. So it's not a thumbs down on the post itself. But Def thumbs down on the product

Purina pro plan is the most researched dog food out there. I thought the same thing until I started researching.

This matches a similar $15 off $75+ deal from Petco [petco.com], where I found a larger selection, including the large 40 lbs Tidy Cat litter pails. Petco also has an additional 10% off when you pick up in-store on a $50+ order.

Looks like Amazon's pet promo last week didn't work out. I'm not surprised; Chewy had the better deal.

I don't feed my pets Purina pro plan, but my vet specially recommended this feed for our new kitten.

This is good food. Whatever exotic brands that exist and vouch for all their great ingredients, most of them were never researched to see how well animals do with them. Just saying.

Hey, I've been feeding my big boy Purina Pro Plan for large breeds for about a year now, but I'm hearing it's not that great. Can you recommend a good brand? He's a big fella, he weighs about 92 lbs and is 3 years old with no joint problems as far as I know.

Especially if the vet is selling it- they're getting kickbacks- look at the ingredients- garbage
