Looks tempting. I like the black version that another commenter referenced! I have the red HMCO version with slipcover and the green HMCO Hobbit with slipcovers. I enjoy them very much. and the leafs have held up well (no yellowing). I would really like to find a set of the Easton Press leather bound sets for a reasonable price to match all my other books.

Yeah, that's one thing I've noticed about modern books, hardcovers will often have cheap paper not much different than a mass market. I'm willing to splurge on a nice edition IF it has paper that still looks good in 20 years.
