I used to get the newest samsung flagship each year, so glad I switched to this. the phone is still as snappy as the day I got it, great battery life and screen. make sure you buy a cover for the camera (ask me how i know lol).
the only android that's a direct competitor is the pixel pro.

Edit: Just looked it up, and apparently I can't. Bummer.
Per the Boost Mobile website:
If you are getting a new phone number, your SIM will be automatically activated 2-3 days after order. If you do not activate your phone on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you will be charged the full MSRP of the phone (less your purchase price) to the card used today or any alternative payment method. Once activated, you authorize Boost Mobile to charge your card or PayPal account to auto pay your monthly total fee plus any additional taxes and surcharges.
If not, what are you referring to?
I bought the Edge Plus 2023 from them and they sent me a used phone.
I asked for my money back and they said I have to pay for shipping.
Do your research.
They have one of the worst reviews online.
Had the deal for the iphone 12 last year on the fall (working on the tmobile network) As I had been using a boost line on the AT&T network and service had been pretty good for the most part, not the fastest speeds but stable. The line with service on the tmobile network was so bad that I would even lose data for intermittent periods (would completely lose 2 out of every 10 minutes of data usage) which I thought was due to poor prioritization as I had experienced something similar but to a lesser degree using metro February last year. Then the ATT service also became as bad as the Tmobile one late december last year and all of January this year. I sold the iphone 12 as it also had problems with the silent mode button and recouped most of the cost and switched to visible+ during their promo for 35/month and have not had any problems with connection whatsoever since. I tried a metro deal last month and was surprised at how much improved the network stability was, even getting 5G UC. Better than metro service of February last year and a lot better than boost Tmobile based service on the fall of last year. Very comparable to Visible+ now in both speed and stability. I read that Tmobile started recently service of the newly acquired spectrum so that may be why the tmobile based service has improved so much. From what I read both metro and boost tmobile service should have the same level of priority in data. So, I'm wondering if boost also benefited from this, anybody experiencing improvements? I love visible+ but would prefer a lower bill. This would come out to close to 30 per month and that is including the phone and would continue saving even if the service goes back to the normal rate of 25 dollars after a year of use.

When you receive the phone & sim and you're ready to activate, then you can do whatever you want -- port your ph# in, or get a new ph#.
The reason for this: if you order a brand new # from the beginning, they will activate your sim before they mail it, and you will lose a week of service (or however long shipping takes).
I've been switching phones every 1-2 years regardless, so I am happy to jump from one MVNO to the next every 6-12 months if I get an "unlimited" data plan and an upgraded phone just works, and isn't frustrating to use. I don't really care if its 2-4 years behind flagship phone specs or performance, the price/value tradeoff is worth it for me.
For most people: this is 100% of the value of a mid-tier phone from a big 3 carrier, 90% of the value of the "unlimited data" plans that people actually use, and all at HALF the cost or less. And you can upgrade in a year if you want.
I kinda prefer this one to the Pixel 7 Pro. The G2 runs so much hotter. The charging speed was so much slower. The modem in the Edge is also much better. Pixel had significantly more cases to choose from and probably better pictures
