It's a very fun jRPG by Sega. My only complaint is that it's *very* dialogue heavy. I do find myself skipping a lot of the dialogue and cut scenes because of this. But that's easy to do and a minor annoyance. It's not even that the dialogue is bad. The voice talent is great and the cut scenes are great - there's just SO MANY of them that if you don't skip some of it, it's gonna take you 3x as long to progress on the game and my play time is kinda limited.
Definitely one to have in your collection if you like RPGs. The adult elements are fun!

Gaiden is a beat-em-up game like the old Yakuza games, whereas this is turn-based. I greatly prefer turn-based, but Gaiden was still fun.
I had to look up wtf Gaiden was. I really hate how they are changing up the naming of these games so much anymore.

I find it interesting how you console elitist expect a 3k PC gaming experience for the measly $500 you spend on a console. I'm a gamer and I own it all, but if I wanted to game on a budget, Microsoft wins hands down. The quality of Gamepass is ridiculous. I wonder how you Sony Simps would act if it was Sony Gamepass instead.

Yeah. The naming has gotten ridiculous. "Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name" is an absurd title and changing the name of a series that has been well known for nearly 20 years is a pretty big marketing sin. They could have easily stuck with, "Yakuza: Like a Dragon 2" for this game and they should have named Gaiden something like, "Yakuza: The Man Who Erased His Name."
Agreed. I think keeping the Yakuza title for games of that style and like a dragon for the turn based style would have been the way to go.
