Any live sports (or any content exclusive to ATV) like MLB or PGA Golf, etc. on ATV?
Thanks for anyone's reply. : )
It says selected returning customers and I think usually there's a criteria that you have to have been away for a few months at least.
I can't hurt to try. Although one time I tried to cash in 4 months of Apple music and it wouldn't work. I was going through Best buy and it turned out you actually had to be on an iPad or an iPhone to cash the deal in.
You can of course use apple music on a non Apple device (I would have set it up as my default music player for my echo studio speakers presumably)... So if you do fiddle with it I recommend making sure you're on an iPod phone or an iPad and if you don't have one borrow it from a family or friend..
I had 4 months in I found some pretty good shows. In particular for all mankind and shrinking. I didn't get a chance to watch that soccer show. I did see the first two episodes of the dynasty and would have liked to finish it even though it's basically just an anti-belichick.
All of that said it's the kind of thing that I would use for the trial and not pay for unless I was specifically doing it for a show. When for all mankind season 5 comes out in a year or something I would consider paying for a month if I had to.
But then I would just cancel afterwards.
There's not many streaming options these days that I think are worth paying for 12 months a year. Unless they're bundled with your existing products or something.
I think the smart move now is to rotate. Watch Netflix for a few months and bang out the stuff you care about.. switch to Paramount Plus (although you can probably get that for free if you know how) to watch all the Star Trek you need to catch up on or whatever.
Switch to Hulu and Disney when you're done with that, so you can watch The Wonder years with Kevin Arnold.
Then to peacock to do the office and Parks and rec.
Round and round.
I'm lucky I have a family member that just pays for almost all this s*** and lets me use her password. Thanks sis.

Yeah there are some apps and stuff now and stuff where you can use temporary credit cards. It'll create a credit card number that will just work for a single-use situation..
And some apps that let you automatically handle your subscriptions.
But I'm sure a lot of us have had this issue. I paid for 6 months at Disney Plus once on accident because I didn't realize I had got a 4-month trial with Amazon music or something. I was you know happy to get four free months of it never used it once completely forgot and ended up giving a Disney eight bucks a month for several months.
At least it was before the price increase.
This happened to me with GameStop once and I had a legitimate grievance because my card had actually been expired and they were still charging it. They actually refunded me 75 bucks for 5 months which I was pleased about. But I was lucky and they saw that I had never used GameStop once during that time..
