I could not use it on Amazon or Starbucks when I tried yesterday. You can always try online plus Power up members get 5% off gaming cards which I wish I used for the $200 I bought in store yesterday.

As with the other commenter, I was going based off my earlier visit that I mentioned in the comment. Just because the offer ended for your store does not limit me from receiving said offer from my own. They did give me the caveat that the offer was until the end of the month though, and I'm pretty sure I mentioned that too.

Not sure if you're trolling but they have roughly $1 Billion and a very minor interest-free loan. They are not going through bankruptcy anytime soon unless they do something like buy into very bad mergers.

This is such a wild take. I'm not a fan of Gamestop (preferred Best Buy until recently, now I buy from Target when I can) but they absolutely still have killer deals from time to time. It just depends on what you're looking for. I only buy new and sealed and it can be frustrating sometimes, but I've had more good than bad experiences with Gamestop.

You seem to be missing the fact that physical is still going away. Microsoft is moving more and more toward digital focused releases, and both Microsoft and Sony have been recently selling collectors editions with steelbooks and digital vouchers for the actual game (God of War Ragnarok and Starfield come to mind).

Letting Gamestop go under just leads to more consolidation and less deals from bigger corps like Amazon. You talk about "power to the profits" and choosing Amazon like they weren't the first to remove price-matching which caused all other stores to follow suit for a period of time. Grow up.
