I've had this tablet for about 8 months now and no issues, took it in Dec for a month of travel (along with my steam deck) and watched local anime and movies on it during downtime. Screen is absolutely gorgeous. It works better with VLC & local media files on SD card, zero issues with 1080p content on that - haven't really tried too much streaming apps since I really only wanted for when I am offline.
Also works great as a comic reader and book reader, although I infinitely prefer my kindle paperwhite for just books, way smaller size thats far easier to hold.
Two accessories that I found must haves were a usb-c to headphone jack adapter (you can get one that also charges but I didn't need it) and a little folding holder that holds the tablet for me when I want to go hands free when watching a movie or whatever. I just bought a random cheap $15 chinese one on amazon and it worked fine.
I did have some of the taskbar issues in Dec when traveling but since a fairly recent update that seems to have gone away, I haven't "lost" my taskbar since then which used to happen frequently (go back into settings and turn taskbar on/off to fix it). No real complaints otherwise, I don't care about android updates its good enough as it is.
Screen is really the big seller here, gorgeous OLED screen that is almost as good as the recent AMOLED screens that Samsung uses, not sure how it compares to apple new OLEDs. For the price its really tough to beat especially since it comes with a microSD card, I put a 1TB card on it and dumped like 200 hours of movies, TV, anime, and comics onto it and its the perfect traveling companion. Insanely lightweight and thin too.
Lenovo and their eBay store price dropped to $224.99 just today (EDIT: use 10% off coupon TABEXTRA10 on lenovo.com , code not needed on eBay)
Glad I was on the fence last couple days. Would have been mad to see it drop further. Went ahead and ordered. For the specs and display I don't think it can be matched. I can handle slow software updates since that seems to be the biggest complaint on this tablet. Seems they confirmed Android 14 at some point so I know it's at least getting one more update.
Yep. Got one myself for media as well. Time to retire the slow samsung a7. I actually just bought a refurbished Galaxy tab S8+ but returning as that is almost 200 more

The S8+ will still be noticeably faster (I have one, and my mom has this one), but probably not 200 dollars more. I do think Samsung s interface of Android is a bit more intuitive than Lenovo's as well. Regardless, can't really go wrong with either.
I have the 4gb model and mostly use it for media consumption. X, reddit, youtube, netflix, etc. Great OLED screen. Some people complain about greenish areas when you turn the screen down to 5% or below. I can see it on mine but it never bothers me. I also had it on a older samsung oled tablet. Speakers are loud and clear.
Took forever to get updated to Android 13, year longer than any other tablet that updated. Who knows if it will every be on Android 14 even though its supposed to get 12,13, and 14.

They won't give CB automatically, so have to demand it via the "missing CB" form.

It's because that code is automatically applied.
